Differences Between Telecommunication and Networking.

Telecommunication is the electronic transmission of data/information over significant distances in the form of electromagnetic signals to one other receptive end. The data/information may be in the form of voice telephone calls, data, text, images, or video.

A complete telecommunication system comprises of transmitter(s) for up-link and receiver(s) for down-link. The transmitter and receiver at any station in combined form are called a transceiver.
